Warm Wishes and Season's Greetings from the ECHS Family

As 2024 comes to a close, thoughts of the many special gifts shared at the Albert Long Museum come to mind. We have enjoyed the kind words from many of our visitors who walked through our little house. They took time to share part of their day with us this past summer season.

We are thankful for the support from the City of Entiat and the Chelan County P.U.D., who continue to help us improve and maintain the building and grounds of the museum. For the dedication of our members who offer their time and their many gifts of voluntary service to keep the history of our valley alive and expand what we do, we are so very grateful. And to you, dear readers, who connect with us and each other in stories shared and memories cherished, we are grateful.

As we look forward to 2025, we hope to connect and reconnect with those who know us well and those who may not. Our hope is to understand what it is that makes us unique as a group that honors history and our community. The following questions are some that we would like to ask you.

  • What motivates you to visit the museum?

  • What topics are you most interested in?

  • What is the favorite thing you've done / seen / experienced at the museum?

  • What are some barriers to participation or reasons your participation may have changed?

  • What is the most valuable thing that the Entiat Community Historical Society and the Albert Long Museum provides for you and for the broader community?

The gift of your reply would be truly cherished. We are wholeheartedly dedicated to enhancing and nurturing our special community, making the Albert Long Entiat Museum a place we can all be proud of. Your thoughts and insights mean so much to us, so please feel free to reach out via email at grannydalgas@outlook.com or leave a comment on our Facebook page. May the warmth and joy of life in the Entiat Valley fill your hearts and spread good cheer throughout our wonderful community.

Hello Esther, I donate every year to local charities, but I don't see the museum on my list for 2024. That is an oversight. What is the mailing address and I'll send a donation.

Thank you for everything you do.

Best regards,
